TLC exists to train student leaders to influence their church and community for Christ.
Meet Jeff Stimpson
Jeff is currently serving as the Lead Pastor at Whitehaven Baptist Church in Grand Island, NY. Prior to his arrival to Whitehaven, Jeff served the Lord in several different roles in NY, WV, and KY.
Jeff was born and raised in a suburb just outside of Detroit, Michigan. After high school, Jeff attended Baptist Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible. While at BBC, Jeff played 4 years of varsity soccer where he was part of 2 national championships and earned 2 first team All-American awards. BBC is also the place where Jeff met Carrie. After graduation, Jeff and Carrie were married on July 22, 1995. They have 4 children: Noah, Ethan, Luke, and Sarah.
Jeff currently is serving on the board for Vision for Youth and ministers at his public high school. Jeff is a practical down to earth speaker who regularly speaks at camps, winter, and high school retreats throughout the year. Jeff’s desire is to impact teens with the Gospel and ultimately see them become disciple’s of Christ ignited to live passionately for Him!
This past summer was my first experience with TLC. Despite hearing about the conference from friends at BBC, I really didn’t know what to expect. I enjoyed counseling at TLC for several reasons. Although TLC is programmed to specifically reach high school students, I believe God worked in my life as a counselor just as much as He did in the lives of the students.
