Meet (Doc.) David Harris

David Harris - Worship Leader
David is a music professor at Baptist Bible College. He leads the daily chapel worship, teaches voice lessons, and works with Church Music majors, preparing them for career ministries as worship leaders. David has recorded two worship projects: Gospel Worship [2004] and Gospel Fear [2006].

He plays a Taylor guitar and a 9-foot Kwai piano. His passion is that corporate worshippers might know what God is like in the face of Jesus Christ for their joy. His favorite book is The End for Which God Created the World by Jonathan Edwards. David and his wife, Connie, have three children: Jordan, Allison, and Dylan.

This past summer was my first experience with TLC. Despite hearing about the conference from friends at BBC, I really didn’t know what to expect. I enjoyed counseling at TLC for several reasons. Although TLC is programmed to specifically reach high school students, I believe God worked in my life as a counselor just as much as He did in the lives of the students.
