Meet Russ Davis

Russ lives in Spokane, Washington with his wife Shannon and his four children; Carson, Jack, Mason and Evie. Russ is familiar with BBC having spent the first five years of his life living in the dorm (RD kid) followed by another three and one half years will attending BBC. He graduated with a BS in Bible and went on to study at Moody Bible Theological Seminary and Graduate School where he got a Masters is Spiritual Formation and Discipleship.

He has served as Pastor of New Community in Spokane for the last five years and has had the privilege of engaging in helping form multiple initiatives into the city. With New Communityʼs emphasis on church planting, Russ has helped launch three churches in the greater Spokane Metro area as well as Global Neighborhood, a non-profit organization that seeks to provide long-term, holistic, relational support to refugees resettling into Spokane. He serves on the board of Global Neighborhood, Emmaus Church, and Chi Rho Community and is active in coaching church planters with Christian Associates, a church planting organization, where he is currently assisting works in Hawaii and Washington. .

Outside of time spent with the family, or reading a good book, Russ throws himself in coaching soccer. He is a soccer coach with the Washington East Soccer Club and in addition coaches in the Inland Empire Youth Soccer Association
