Meet Ted Boykin

Ted Boykin - Assistant Director
Ted enjoys his many roles on the campus of BBC. He recently completed 19 years of teaching in the Bible department as well as several years in the global/counseling department. Ted and his lovely wife, Sherry, also enjoy a very full ministry of being the dorm parents to 55 guys every school year in Loescher Hall.

Their sweet daughter, Katherine, enjoys having lots of older brothers to spoil her. When asked about Teen Leadership and his role, Ted said he has seen God work in amazing ways in the lives of teens. He loves being part of impacting young lives for Christ and discipleship and looks forward to another year of TLC!

This past summer was my first experience with TLC. Despite hearing about the conference from friends at BBC, I really didn’t know what to expect. I enjoyed counseling at TLC for several reasons. Although TLC is programmed to specifically reach high school students, I believe God worked in my life as a counselor just as much as He did in the lives of the students.
