Don Jackson

Don Jackson’s down to earth and energetic teaching and preaching style and his passion for reaching students and challenging them to pursue a vibrant life in Christ have given him the opportunity to be a return guest speaker at both summer and winter camps, retreats, graduations, baccalaureates, conferences, and community workshops. His ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Battle Creek, Michigan, for 16 years as Youth/Associate Pastor has given him the opportunity to serve students and their families in the local church. He also has a ministry with students and staff at the local high school as well as within the Battle Creek community. He enjoys associating with and training fellow youth workers and youth pastors. He currently serves as an officer on the Vision for Youth Board of Directors. One of Don’s greatest joys in long term ministry is seeing students in his ministry graduate and continue to serve the Lord both in full time ministry and as lay leaders in their congregations. Don and his wife, Julie, love life with their two elementary-aged daughters and their preschool-aged son. In addition to trying to get the city boy in him to enjoy the great outdoors in their family camper, Don enjoys working on his golf game and cruising in his Jeep.
