Daily Details

Instruction Time
Each morning is designed to improve your skill level. Individual and team concepts are taught with an emphasis on learning through participation. Three full-sized fields will be used, and girls and boys will train at separate fields, except for goalies.

Camp Competitions
8v8—The afternoon hours are spent in short-field games. Teams will be grouped according to grade and school.
11v11—Campers from the same school will play together for the full-field games in the evening.

Chapel
An important time of Defender Soccer Camp, chapel provides an opportunity for players to learn from God’s Word. We are interested in your relationship with Christ, and our staff will lead in these opportunities for spiritual growth. Informal sharing and singing are also part of this time.

Coaches
Attending coaches MUST pre-register!
The fee for coaches is $30. One coach may attend free for each eight players from the same school. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide facilities for coaches’ families.

Goalkeeper Training
Under the leadership of John Diven, Defender Soccer Camp also provides specialized training for keepers. They will be assisted by current keepers from BBC men’s and women’s teams. Goalkeepers are trained in areas of fitness, agility, technique, foot skills, and tactical awareness. Keepers will have the opportunity to practice their skills during the 8v8 and 11v11 competitions.
