Worship Ministries Leadership

In local churches around the world, there is a need for biblically sound, culturally appropriate worship. Perhaps you have recognized this need and have been called to answer it.

Our Worship Ministries Leadership program answers the need for leaders who can encourage biblical and God focused worship in a variety of settings.

Practical courses
Through balanced and intentional coursework you can become a highly effective leader in an ever-changing worship environment.

You will gain training and experience in vital and appropriate areas such as Bible, theology, church growth, and worship. Our courses prepare you for dynamic leadership. Classes include:

• Music Resources for Group Worship
• Designing Worship Experiences
• Utilizing the Fine Arts in Contemporary Worship
• Worship Team Training for Children and Teens

Hands-On Experience

Core classes along with pastoral studies and a specialized internship experience will build and strengthen your competency for ministry and leadership.

We value your participation in active ministry settings as a key part of the learning and leading process.

BBS is also home to Project Jerusalem, a unique church-planting program. It is always in need of pastoral interns to fill leadership roles. The experience you will gain in such unique worship environments will be invaluable.

Two Degree Options
Master of Ministry

Requirements: 33 credit hours, an undergraduate degree in Bible/theology, and three years ministerial experience. This degree may be completed in one year of on campus study or spread over several years.

Master of Divinity

Requirements: 94-109 credit hours, depending on the extent of your Bible /theology undergraduate course work.
