Artificial Intelligence
With the significant advances in the development of artificial intelligence, scientists have created machines that have the ability to function in a way that imitates human thinking.
In her article, What is Artificial Intelligence?, Latanya Sweeney described the goal of some scientists in 1992 with the following statement: “Artificial intelligence concerns itself with intelligent behavior—the things that make us seem intelligent. In an ultimate view, we are about re-creating a perception of man and building a machine in our own image” (http://privacy.cs.cmu. edu/people/sweeney/aidef.html). This desire has probably strengthened over the years as new possibilities have come to light in the realm of computer technology.
