Barndollar Lectureship Series

This annual program enables well-known theologians and ministry professionals to interact with students concerning important theological matters. The lecturers expand students' horizons and stimulate them to dig deeper into the particular theme area.Kaiser

2012 Speaker – Dr. Walt Kaiser
"God's Future for Israel and the Near East"
Dr. Kaiser is an evangelical Old Testament scholar, writer, educator, and distinguished Professor of Old Testament and President Emeritus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He serves on the boards of several Christian organizations and has contributed to numerous publications. He has also written several books, including "Toward and Old Testament Theology." "Hard Sayings of the Old Testament," and "A History of Israel." He and his wife, Marge, have three sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren.

Pastors and other community members are encouraged to attend. Sessions begin each morning at 9 a.m. in the Stowell Seminary Building.

God's Promise to Regather Israel back to their Land – Jeremiah 32 (Sept. 11)
God's Promise to Revive the Nation and Unify it Once Again – Ezekiel 37 (Sept. 12)
God's Gift of a Revival in Egypt – Isaiah 19 (Sept. 13)


About the W.W. Barndollar Lecture Series

The series was established in 1993 in memory of W. Walker Barndollar. It honors his years of service to BBC&S as a professor committed to the pursuit of academic excellence. The desire was that Seminary faculty would choose a speaker with academic credibility who could model the finest in English Bible exposition to seminarians.
