He served there with various titles and roles including Chairman of the Music Department. He has also served as the Chairman of the Music Department of Baptist Bible College of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, from 1969 to 1984 and as an assistant professor at the school’s Johnson City, New York, location from 1965 to 1967. Dr. Ellsworth has served as a full-time Minister of Music at the Scott Memorial Baptist Church (now Shadow Mountain Community Church) in El Cajon, California, from 1984 to 1990 and as a part-time Minister of Music in churches in Binghamton, New York; Hollywood, Costa Mesa, and San Diego, Caliornia; and Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Judy, have two sons who are both in worship and music ministry.
