Our Core Values

Evangelism and Discipleship We are committed to the Great Commission. Thus we will strive to plant churches that intentionally pursue and effectively reach lost and unchurched people for Christ. Furthermore, we will seek to disciple converts to both maturity and fruitfulness in Christ.

Local Church Centrality We believe the local New Testament church is the unique and divinely ordained instrument on earth to fulfill the Great Commission and that the final mandate of Christ requires church planting. Because the scriptural and most effective strategy to plant new churches is daughter church planting, we will engage in church planting projects only at the invitation of a parenting church or group of partnering churches.

Scriptural Cooperation We believe partnership in the Gospel is essential to reach our generation for Christ. Thus we will seek to work together with other biblical ministries without compromising the truth of Scripture. We will work to increase the effectiveness of like-minded churches, associations, and mission agencies in the planting of biblical churches.

Leadership Training We believe that one of the greatest needs in the Church and churches is for well equipped, biblically sound, godly servant-leaders. Thus we are committed to help each seminarian-in-training to discover and develop his unique calling, gifts, and temperament. We are committed to the roles of mentoring and modeling in the preparation of mature men of God. We will seek to develop leaders who are committed to multiplying church leaders (II Tim. 2:2).

Excellence We are committed to rise above mediocrity and to pursue excellence. Thus we will insist that each of our church planting teams and local church partners give God only their best.

Bible Exposition and Teaching We will seek to work only with churches and church planting leaders who are committed to faithful Bible exposition, leading to Christlikeness. We are committed to the clear and accurate communication of God's Word in a way that ministers grace and urges obedience to Christ.

Multiplication and Reproduction We will seek to multiply the planting of reproducing churches which are committed to planting daughter churches as well as to growing reproducing disciples. We will seek to develop/use materials and methods that trained leaders can reproduce.

Team Ministry We are committed to a team model for church planting and to church organization that both equips and empowers every lay member, family, and church leader (Eph. 4:11-16).

Balanced Christianity and Growth We are committed to starting churches that are biblically balanced with focus given to worship, prayer, exposition, evangelism, discipleship, and global missions. We will work to establish healthy churches that are committed to both qualitative and quantitative growth. Although numerical growth is not necessarily a sign of God's blessing, and is not a sufficient goal in itself, we believe God desires us to reach as many people as possible.

Innovation and Creativity While recognizing that our message is timeless, we desire to be sensitive to those we seek to serve. In today's rapidly changing world, forms and methods must be continually evaluated. While proven techniques should not be discarded at whim, we will encourage flexibility and creativity. We are more concerned with ministry effectiveness than simply adherence to tradition.

Biblical Authority We will plant and partner with churches that are fully committed to God's inerrant Word as the sole guide for faith and practice. Thus we will submit all our activities to the judgement of the Scriptures, obeying its precepts and applying its principles.

Stewardship and Accountability We are committed to fiscal responsibility, ministry accountability, and accurate communication in all our dealings with donors and partnering churches. We will seek to maximize Christian resources by taking care not to waste nor unnecessarily duplicate what other Bible-believers are doing. We will do our best to avoid exaggeration, misrepresentation, and deception.
