BBC&S teams with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders for two July events

A pair of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders baseball games in July will have a strong presence by BBC&S.

BBC&SAt the Friday, July 5 game, BBC&S is the featured Community Organization of the Night. More than 200 faculty and staff, along with friends and families, are expected to attend.

President Jim Jeffery will address the crowd and appear on the local radio play-by-play broadcast, Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike Show will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and themed BBC bracelets will be given to up to 5,000 fans. Post-game fireworks are also included in the 7:05 p.m. context against the Buffalo Bisons.

The RailRiders' Faith & Family Day on Sunday, July 21 will feature a post-game concert by RiSE, a BBC travelling worship band. The group is now on tour across several states. See details at www.bbc.edu/rise.

BBC&SThe 1:05 p.m. game against the Louisville Bats includes player autographs before the game and an opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game.

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders are the AAA-level affiliate of the New York Yankees. The International League team plays at newly renovated PNC Field in Moosic, PA.
