Leadership, fellowship focus at Minister's Enrichment Day

A special focus on leadership and a unique time of fellowship are featured at Baptist Bible Seminary's spring Minister's Enrichment Day, a powerful opportunity for pastors, youth pastors, and their wives to learn and be encouraged and refreshed.

"Toward a Biblical Theology of Leadership: A Look at the Heart of Biblical Perspectives in Leadership" is Tuesday, March 27 at the Stowell Seminary Building. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes by 4:15 p.m.

The cost is $15 per person and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.BBC&S

Special Speakers
Keynote speaker Dr. John Jelinek is Vice President and Academic Dean, and Professor of Theology, at Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL.

Other speakers include BBC&S President Jim Jeffery, former BBS Dean Dr. Howard Bixby, Assistant Seminary Dean Dr. Lee Kliewer, BBS Professor Dr. Bill Arp, and BBS Director of Admissions Paul Golden.

An afternoon Youth Pastors Track will be led by veteran ministry leader and BBC&S Vice President for Alumni & Church Relations Mel Walker. An afternoon Ladies Track features powerful speaker and BBC Associate Professor Sherrie Holloway.

Added College Visit
Youth pastors are encouraged to bring teens in their church to meet with Admissions representatives and tour campus. A special visit will be arranged through BBC Admissions.

The visits are a great opportunity for future college students to see the campus, meet professors, and learn about the full range of undergraduate majors at BBC. It is also a good way to build relationships with students while driving to Clarks Summit, PA.

A member of the International Society of Christian Apologetics and the Evangelical Theological Society, Dr. Jelinek has published numerous articles and reviews in periodicals and books and is currently working on a Systematic Theology based on interaction in the seminary classroom for the past 18 years. His commentary on the books of Amos and Leviticus will be published soon by Moody Press.

Dr. Jelinek, who enjoys bringing humor into the classroom, has served as pastor or interim pastor in churches in Michigan and Pennsylvania. He currently teaches an adult community class on the book of Revelation at The Moody Church in Chicago.
