Chris Terry, of Alpine, NY, a student in the Master of Divinity program, received the Expository Preaching Award.

"It was a real honor, to not only be chosen by my peers, but to be chosen by the faculty," Terry said. "These awards are such an immense encouragement to us at the Seminary. The men here have a heart for God. To receive something like this does something very powerful in their lives."

Scholarship money is set aside for students who meet specific criteria designated by donors. Academic achievement, student involvement, and financial need are also considered, with professors and department heads nominating individuals for each award.

Donors can make a difference, giving funds to student scholarships. Investments grow with the generations of lives impacted by the students and graduates of Baptist Bible Seminary.
