Church Ministries Conference shifting to November

BBC&S' annual Church Ministries Conference is shifting to early November.

The two-day conference, originally set for mid-April, will now be held Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.

"It is a better time of the year," said Mark Steckiel, BBC&S' Executive Director of Alumni & Church Relations. "This will hit right at the time its most needed and most practical to those in attendance, rather than heading into the summer months."

Nearly four dozen workshops and more than two dozen speakers are set to be featured at the 2011 conference, an event that draws hundreds of attendees to the Clarks Summit, PA, campus each year.

The sessions and other opportunities are designed to enhance the ministry and leadership of anyone serving in a local church.

Workshops during the fourth annual conference will focus on children, youth, adult, and outreach ministries, and more.

Topics will range from strategic planning and managing a classroom to storytelling and prayer.
