M.Min. Requirements

The Master of Ministry degree is for you if you are in full-time pastoral or missions ministry and have an undergraduate degree with a major in Biblical studies and ministry. Additionally, pastors who lack an undergraduate degree may be admitted to the M.Min. Program as “certificate students” and enjoy all of the same benefits.

Some other ways that you may earn academic credit towards the M.Min. degree at BBS include:

• Advanced standing from other degrees such as the Th.B.
• Portfolio assessment of prior learning in ministry, including courses you have taught in Bible institutes, colleges, or other post-secondary learning contexts may be counted for credit.

Note—By action of the Board of Trustees, no one who has been divorced or who is married to a divorced person may be admitted as a student. Prospective students who are separated from spouses will not be accepted.
