Pastoral Leadership

With the challenges of leading an ever-changing group of people, pastors must stand on a firm biblical foundation and possess dynamic leadership skills. The Master of Divinity Pastoral Leadership concentration prepares you for competent leadership of your highly-complex staff and congregation.

As a student in the Pastoral Leadership concentration, you strengthen your ability to lead effectively and with excellence through a range of courses. You gain a strong biblical foundation, hone your preaching skills, and develop strategies for personal and corporate enthusiasm. A hands-on internship experience provides you with practice and pastoral mentoring in a tangible, teaching environment.

The faculty at Baptist Bible Seminary bring years of church pastoring experience to the classroom and desire to mentor and encourage you in ministry leadership.

You will leave BBS with:

  • Powerful preaching skills for effectively communicating the Word of God.
  • Resources for legal awareness and a biblical relationship with the government.
  • Capabilities for planning deep, biblical worship experiences in the church.
  • Practical tools for discipling and cultivating lay leadership and congregational fervency.
