Dr. Ken Pyne was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He met his wife, Debbie, at BBC and they were married in 1980. They have 4 children, all who have attended BBC.
Ken served for 27 years at Evangel Baptist Church in Taylor MI. There he was an Associate Pastor, with responsibilities that included directing the adult and teen music programs, leading worship, teaching in the Bible institute and adult Bible fellowship groups, and administration. He was involved in coaching teens in the Talents for Christ program and directed the program in the state of Michigan. He also served as the church's internship coordinator, helping to guide eight interns from Baptist Bible Seminary.
Prior to coming on fulltime at the seminary, Ken was already teaching online in the Bible department for the college as well as teaching music and worship classes as an adjunct faculty for both the college and seminary.
