Distance Education

Distance Education options place a quality seminary education within your grasp BBS provides distance education to men who desire advanced education, but cannot leave their present place of ministry. Distance options allow for both master- and doctoral-level study.

BBS is a leader in academically-sound distance education. Many students choose to relocate to our campus to accelerate their education, but all of our degrees can be completed in-service, allowing you to improve your current ministry throughout your seminary experience. 

Modules in Pennsylvania and Ohio
One- and two-week modules are offered on our home campus as well as our extension campus  in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in the Midwest during February, June, and October. Preparatory study prior to the module is required.

One-Day-a-Week Classes
One-day-a-week classes are particularly helpful to pastors who can attend seminary on their day off. The computer lab, library, informal study groups, and interaction with professors are valuable assets to the one-day-a-week student.

Online and Computer-enhanced Courses
Offered in a peer based, distributed learning format, each student regularly contributes to online class discussions monitored by the professor. In addition to class interaction, the courses involve a combination of reading, research, and writing. Following the on-campus class schedule, online courses are offered over a 12-week period during the fall and spring semesters and in a more concentrated format in the summer. BBS offers over 20 courses online.
