Cleveland Regional Event

Alumni and friends of Baptist Bible College & Seminary recently reconnected with the school at a regional event in Cleveland, the first of a half-dozen set for the 2008-2009 year.

The event was held September 13 at Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro, OH. It was hosted by alumni Pastor Don (BBC, 1978) and Beth Workman (BBC, 1978). Nearly 40 people attended.

Only four alumni who attended had been back to the Clarks Summit campus in recent years. Those in attendance had a wonderful time sharing memories and about how God has led in each of their lives since they were students.

BBC&S President Jim Jeffery spoke at Faith Baptist Church the next morning. Geoff Ellsworth, an Admissions Counselor at BBC and former Pastor of Worship at Grace Church in Glendora, CA, led worship.

The BBC&S Friends & Alumni events are designed to reunite alumni and friends of the school and enable visitors to share in the vision of BBC&S.

The next events are:
-- October 25: West Cannon Baptist Church in Belmont, MI (Grand Rapids).
-- October 27: First Baptist Church in Rochester Hills, MI (Detroit).
-- November 1: Shawnee Baptist Church in Shamong, NJ (Philadelphia).
-- February 20: Southside Baptist Church in Sebring, FL.
-- February 21: Gateway Baptist Church in Kissimmee, FL (Orlando).

At each event, President Jeffery gives an update on the College, Graduate School, and Seminary. He also presents pictures and plans for campus improvements and new online degrees.

All events are open to anyone who wants to attend and guests are encouraged to bring friends and family.
