BBC&S hosting sixth annual Grandparents Day
Grandparents of Baptist Bible College students are invited to visit the campus this fall for a special day set aside to celebrate and appreciate their great influence.
BBC's sixth annual Grandparents Day event will be Friday, October 24. Events and special times will run during the entire day -- from breakfast at 7 a.m. to the fall play that evening.
For details, including registration and area hotel information, go to www.bbc.edu/grandparentsday.
Last year's event drew nearly 200 visitors from all across the country. Grandparents experience a day in the life of their student by attending classes, visiting in residence hall rooms, exploring the campus, and eating in the cafeteria.
Again this year, visitors will enjoy a special grandparents recognition chapel as well as an afternoon concert featuring BBC's Chambers Singers and Concert Chorale.
An update will also be provided by BBC&S President Jim Jeffery, and grandparents are invited to attend the fall play production, Jane Eyre -- The Musical, at a discounted ticket price.
Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible Certificate to PhDs. Programs are available through the Clarks Summit campus and several distance learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.
