Leadership Conference packs BBC&S campus

Baptist Bible College is hosting nearly 1,000 students and youth workers over the last two weeks of July during its 40th Teen Leadership Conference.

The event attracts young people from across the country who come together to fuel their passion for ministry and equip themselves with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective leadership. Click here to see videos from the conference and here to watch a BBC Today video news segment on TLC.

Throughout the week, students and youth workers will attend various workshops and enjoy corporate worship sessions. The two, week-long events are designed to train student leaders in local church youth groups to influence their church and community for Christ.

Over the past 40 years, God has used TLC to radically change the hearts of both teens and youth workers. Click here to read what several past attendees have written about TLC or to contribute comments.

Carrying the theme "Heroes," featured speakers at this year's conference include experts with deep ministry experience, such as Dwight Peterson, Don Jackson, Mel Walker, Mike Show, Andy Giessman, and Dr. Jim Lytle. They are speaking on topics ranging from Bible study, purity, and evangelism, to speaking encouragement and the Christian's place in the arts.

Baptist Bible College & Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible Certificate to PhDs. Programs are available through the Clarks Summit campus and several distance learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570.586.2400.
