Spring Banquet highlights, celebrates students

Baptist Bible College students, staff and faculty members will enjoy an evening of fine dining, conversation and awards at this year's annual Spring Banquet. The semi-formal banquet will be Friday, April 25 at Genetti Manor in Dickson City.

Fourteen special awards will be given during the after-dinner program. Hosted by students Nate Eikenberry and Eve Sutherland, the event is designed to parody the Oscars. The awards will be presented by several students and staff members

Traditionally, two awards are given for the best Communications Hour announcement and the best promotional poster. This year will include 10 Friedie Awards for outstanding individuals and classes, and two Presiden's Cups for the men's and women's residence halls with the best overall intramural athletics performance.

The Friedie Awards are named for Friedie Loescher, Vice President for Student Development.

Several recreational trips will be available to students following the banquet. After-banquet trip locations include New York City, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
