BBC&S visits Chicago and Milwaukee, more events planned

Alumni and friends of Baptist Bible College & Seminary reconnected with the school at special events near Chicago and Milwaukee earlier in April, the third and fourth visits in a growing series of regional gatherings.

The BBC&S Friends & Alumni events are designed to reunite alumni and friends of the school and enable visitors to share in the vision of BBC&S.

The next scheduled event is November 1 at Shawnee Baptist Church in Shamong, NJ. Other gatherings are planned for Indiana, Michigan and the greater Philadelphia area. Dates for those events are not set.

More than 40 people attended the Chicago and Milwaukee events. An evening gathering was held at New Life Baptist Church in Lake in the Hills, IL. An afternoon event followed the next day at Spring Creek Church in Pewaukee, WI.

At each session, President Jim Jeffery gave an update on the College, Graduate School, and Seminary. He also presented pictures and plans for campus improvements. He spoke at Spring Creek Church the day after the Milwaukee area program.

Only four alumni who attended had been back to the Clarks Summit campus in recent years. Those in attendance had a wonderful time sharing memories and about how God has led in each of their lives since they were students.

All events are open to anyone who wants to attend and guests are encouraged to bring friends and family.
