Chamber Singers tour Ireland
The Baptist Bible College Chamber Singers are now traveling and performing throughout the Republic of Ireland. They will be on tour until March 23.
The group has been raising money for two years to pay for the trip. The tour was largely initiated and arranged by senior Niall O'Neill, a Chamber Singers member from County Galway, Ireland.
Galway, Clonfert, Kilkenny, Ballyroan, Athlone, Cork and Dundalk are among the stops for the group.
Other BBC musical groups also have travel plans.
- The Concert Chorale is touring the New England states from March 15-23. The 43-members are also visiting churches in New Jersey and New York during the semester.
- The 16-member Wind Ensemble is offering several weekend performances during the spring semester. The group will appear in several churches within 150 miles of the school.
The Chamber Singers and Concert Chorale are vocal performance groups. The Wind Ensemble is a brass, woodwind and percussion performance group. Their repertoires include many musical styles, but they all specialize in sacred music.
