BBC choirs to tour Ireland, New England
Members of Baptist Bible College's musical groups will share their
talents across the globe during spring break and throughout the
semester.
The 18-member Chamber Singers will tour and perform in Ireland for two weeks in March. The group has been raising money for two years to pay for the trip. The tour was largely initiated and arranged by Niall O'Neill, a Chamber Singers member from County Galway, Ireland.
The Concert Chorale is set to tour the New England states from March 15-23. The 43-member group will also visit churches in New Jersey and New York during the semester.
The 16-member Wind Ensemble will offer several weekend performances during the spring semester. The group will appear in several churches within 150 miles of the school.
The Chamber Singers and the Concert Chorale are vocal performance groups. The Wind Ensemble is a brass, woodwind and percussion performance group. Their repertoires include many musical styles, but they all specialize in sacred music.
