BBC students display artistic side

Students at Baptist Bible College will exhibit their artistic works during this year’s Art Communicates! The three-part event will feature original writings, musical performances and pieces of visual art.

“We want Art Communicates! to give BBC students an opportunity to showcase their artistic abilities that have no other venues,” said Jeremy Kemmerer, a graduate assistant in the English and Communications Department. This the event’s sixth year.

• An art gallery will be on display in the Jackson Hall rotunda Monday through Friday, January 21–25. It will include paintings, sketches, photographs and other visual arts.

• An open-mic event will allow BBC students to read their original poems, short stories, lyrics and other writings. It will be held in the Jackson Hall rotunda at 8 p.m. on Friday, January 25.

• A special Broadway musical event will be held in April. It will include musical pieces and displays from past BBC theatre performances in celebration of BBC&S’ 75th anniversary. Specific dates and times will be available later.
