Baptist Bible Graduate School announces a series of weekend seminars focusing on steps to improve parenting and counseling skills with children and adolescents.

The first seminar will be presented in two parts. Dr. Paul Tripp will address parenting adolescents at Grace Fellowship Church in Hazleton. The session, “Age of Opportunity,” will be held October 19 and 20. As a follow up to this meeting, a video series, “The Case for Kids,” featuring Drs. Tedd and Paul Tripp, will be shown on the campus of BBC. The series covers parenting issues from childhood through adolescence. It will be held October 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Jackson Hall, Room 229, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A second seminar will be held November 2 and 3 on the campus of BBC. Dr. Timothy Sisemore will present “The Christian Nurture and Counseling of Children and Teens: A Theologically Rooted Model,” discussing biblical parenting and counseling with children and teens. Dr. Sisemore, the author of several books, is a psychologist at the Chattanooga Bible Institute Counseling Center and a Clinical Professor of Counseling and Psychology at the Psychological Studies Institute in Chattanooga, TN.

The final seminar will be held November 30 and December 1.
