Seminary announces new concentration
Baptist Bible Seminary is pleased to announce the launch of a new concentration available for both the Master of Ministry degree and the Master of Divinity degree: the Worship Ministries Leadership program. This program is specially designed for worship pastors, missionaries, church planters, or anyone else who would be involved in leading a corporate worship service.
Starting in the fall semester, Worship Ministries Leadership courses will highlight many different formats in which church worship ministry takes place, such as singing, musical performance, drama, prayer, and preaching.
The program will be headed by a new addition to the Seminary faculty, Dr. Donald Ellsworth. Dr. Ellsworth, a BBC grad, has given excellent leadership as both a full-time and part-time church worship pastor in larger church ministries his entire career. He has taught musicians on the collegiate level for over 40 years and is also a well-known and respected author, lecturer, and mentor in church worship and music.
