Growing Leaders Conference

Over 70 high school students and 15 chaperons from a wide area joined a number of Baptist Bible College & Seminary students on campus for this year's Growing Leaders Conference. November 9-11 hosted this year's conference entitled “Leaders by Design,” which was specifically structured to provide a fresh biblical perspective on leadership, identifying the traits of a growing leader, and sharpening personal skills for the Lord’s service.
Students also had the opportunity to participate in several workshops in addition to the main seminars. The workshops had a narrower focus, offering training and information in several specific areas of leadership in a more personal setting.
On Friday morning and afternoon, visitors were welcome to attend College classes. Visiting attendees also had the opportunity to spend time in the dorms with students and get a real taste of dorm life. To top off the experience, the Senior class hosted the annual BBC Lip Sync Social on Friday night.
Being a growing leader is a lifelong process, and that’s why the conference concluded Saturday afternoon with encouragement for the students to “Go and Grow!”
