LYFE conferences offer women fellowship, growth

Two special weekend conferences this summer at BBC are set to offer women special opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and personal growth.

"Breathe" is the theme for the 2014 LYFE Women's Conference. The event will run May 29 - 31 and June 5 - 7 on the Clarks Summit, PA campus.

The annual conference inspires women through focused workshops, moving worship times, and powerful speakers.
Registration and more details, including schedules and workshop leaders, are available online at www.bbc.edu/lyfe.

BBC&SBreathe
With a focus on finding strength to breathe in times of stress, fear, and pain, this year's conference offers a range of powerful workshops and presenters. The keynote speaker is Christie Lothamer, a BBC alumna and dynamic leader who currently serves in England. Special guests include The Pottery Lady, Carole Wolaver; and comedian Anita Renfroe.

Other aspects of the weekends include:
-An elegant Friday evening banquet.
-Unique LYFE T-shirts and other items plus products from Anita Renfroe and Carole Wolaver.
-A special time of singing.

"I come for the renewal of spirit and friendships and to reconnect and be energized," said Robin Fields of Medford, NJ. "At the end of the week you can see how everything comes together. It's amazing how God works."

LYFE Scholarship
Proceeds from the sale of LYFE merchandise benefits the LYFE Scholarship fund and builds into the lives of BBC students.

The LYFE Scholarship began at the request of attendees who wanted to show their appreciation to BBC. Scholarships are awarded each April. Funds assist female BBC students with a commitment to full-time career ministry.

"I am so honored to have received a LYFE Scholarship," said Rachel Mowers, a junior Communications major from Cape Town, South Africa. "I have been to the last three LYFE conferences, so I know the pride these ladies take in creating this scholarship every year. It was also encouraging to be considered for a scholarship that looks at financial need and the character and ministry of the recipient."
