Jody Leach, a leading strength coach, personal trainer, and human performance specialist, will be the featured speaker at a special educational clinic next month at BBC.

"Speed and Agility" is the focus of the Wednesday, April 9 program in BBC's new Recreation Center on campus. The 90-minute seminar begins at 6:30 p.m.

The program will cover scientific principles used when developing speed and agility workouts and methods of adding speed and agility training into specific sports workouts. Those in attendance will observe live drills and teaching techniques used in successful speed and agility programs.

There is no charge to attend the event. Advance registration is requested and available online at www.bbc.edu/sportsseminar.

The seminar will be of particular interest to area high school, college, and travel-team athletic trainers, coaches, athletes, and parents, as well as health professionals and local runners.
