Course holes were sponsored by nonprofit organizations, businesses and friends of BBC&S. These special partnerships provided a strong foundation for the fundraising event. Lead sponsor for the event was an anonymous donor who provided $5,000.

Other top-level sponsors included Control Systems of Ohio, BlueSky Resource Management, Emmanuel Baptist Church, and Emmanuel Christian School in Toledo.

Midwest Golf Tournament prize winners included:
- Championship Team: Matt Patterson, Jeff Meadows, Shane Miller, and Joshua Miller
- Second Place Team: Craig Killenen, Terry McCormack, Rick Stevens, and Chris Gagle
- Closest to the Pin: Hole 16, Rick Stevens
- Men's Longest Drive: Hole 7, Paul Symington

Scholarships for Students
BBC&S students directly benefit from funds raised by sponsors and golfers at annual golf events. For their part, golfers and sponsors appreciated the opportunity to both enjoy the day and assist students in paying for their education at BBC&S.

"It was a real privilege to raise money for scholarships for students in the Midwest," said Dave Regnier, Athletic Director at Emanuel Christian School. "Being a father of a recent BBC graduate and an incoming freshman, I know the impact that these dollars can have for students. Our children have been blessed by the scholarship money they have received from these events."

"It is a great joy to see all of the people who participate in the tournament and care about students getting quality Christian higher education at an affordable price. My wife and I thank the Lord for BBC&S."

Next year's Midwest Golf Classic is set for Saturday, September 6, 2014. It will again be held at Legacy Golf Club. The 207-acre course, ranked among the top 200 in the country, is a four-and-a-half-star-rated with five lakes.
