Humor to take center stage at unique Celebration event

Nationally-known ventriloquist David Pendleton and his band of quirky characters are coming to BBC&S this fall.

The special event is Friday, October 11 at 7 p.m. The comedy show is part of the week-long Celebration on the Summit homecoming.

Tickets to the special event are $10 each and are available online at www.bbc.edu/celebration

Previous Celebration weeks have included comedians Kerri Pomarolli and Michael Jr., humor group 321 Improv Comedy, and illusionist Harris III.

A Ministry of Humor
David Pendleton is one of the nation's premiere ventriloquists, owning the ability to make you believe that anything can talk.

BBC&SDavid brings along four of his unique friends. Aunt Tilly, a 94-year-old spinster; trouble-maker Mack Elroy; his laid-back sidekick, Buford the Beagle; and a slightly misguided albino Vulture named Vern.

With over 20 years of entertainment, David mixes laughter with a life-altering message. After telling his story, he uses his friends to tell the bigger story of God's plan for a life-giving relationship.

David has been featured on Bananas Comedy Show and has performed on stage with Bill Gaither and Mark Lowry.
