iView College Days, other visit events ahead

The iView College Days event, which combines an outdoor concert, the fall play, and a 200-foot zip line across the center of campus with special time among faculty, staff, and students, is among a set of special visit days set for 2013-2014.

Running Thursday evening, October 24 through Saturday, October 26, the weekend includes time to experience dorm life, attend classes and chapel, and visit with professors and current students.

The suspended-cable zip line will stretch across the Quad area of campus and be available on Saturday. The fast-moving line will give future students a high-speed view of the new Recreation Center and more.

A performance of the fall play, "The Miracle Worker," presented by the BBC Drama Department, is another special feature. And RiSE, a BBC traveling worship band now on summer tour, will perform a Friday evening concert under the stars.
