Summer classes advance Master of Education students

Nearly three dozen Master of Education students participated in strong on-campus and online modules in July, gaining practical skills and building friendships as they pursue an advanced degree.

The Master of Education program is among BBC's graduate studies options. Courses can be completed online throughout the year. Modules are offered on campus each summer.

BBC&SSummer modules this year included courses in instructional design, school law, diagnostic evaluation of reading problems, and educational theatre.

"The students in both of the summer modules were motivated educators, each seeking to develop and hone their skills in education to meet the needs of Christian education this fall and in the future," said Professor Dr. Janet Hicks, Director of the Master of Education program.

"I have learned so much and am excited to be able to implement so many practical things in my classroom with my students," said Stacey Hyde of Jessup, PA. "The class has been great. We get to interact with each other and with our professor. It's been great to learn from Professor Dr. Ritch Kelley and the others teachers here."
