Men's Conference kicks off summer on campus
Training for godliness was the focus of 2013 Men's Conference, which brought pastors and Christian leaders together for a time of encouragement at BBC&S.
"God's Gym" was the theme of the May 16-18 event, which kicked off the summer camp and conference season on the Clarks Summit campus.
Offering men spiritual growth and revitalization, the annual retreat-style conference included powerful general sessions, hands-on workshops, and plenty of relaxation and fellowship.
"I enjoy getting more knowledge of the Word," said Charles Hazzard of Westboro, NJ. "I'm a new Christian, so I need more of the head knowledge at this point. Coming here helps. The sessions and workshops give me just what I need."

General sessions explored what it means to train to be godly and discover the difference between works-righteousness and works of the Spirit.
"This is my fifth year coming to the conference," said Robert Ault of Lancaster, PA. "We come for the speakers and the program - and the food. The fellowship is a highlight."
Pastor David Whiting (BBC, 91; BBS, 01) was the keynote speaker for the conference. A 20-year ministry veteran, he is the lead pastor at Northridge Church in Rochester, NY.
