Volunteers Week offers a fun, unique experience
Campus improvements and beautification are the focus for a special week for volunteers this summer at BBC&S.
Volunteers Week is set for July 7 - 13. It offers a mix of hands-on service with an inexpensive and fun vacation. It is an attractive option for many individuals and families. Those attending enjoy making new friends, hearing special speakers, and reconnecting as they serve together.

Painting, carpet installation, and residence hall remodeling are some of the projects currently planned for the week, though specific tasks are subject to change.
Many areas of need on campus are taken care of by the group each year. Some jobs involve specialized skills; others simply require a willing spirit.
"This is service to God in our retirement," said Ron Carswell of Vestal, NY, a volunteer since 2002. "My wife, Sandy, and I retired from our jobs, but we don't retire from serving God.
The cost is $15 per person for meals for the entire week. Housing is free. Childcare is available in the mornings as well as organized activities for ages 11 and under. School facilities, such as the library, walking trails, the Underground Cafe, and the game room, are available.
Volunteers offer a special blessing to the BBC&S maintenance team as they work to complete a wide variety of projects across campus throughout the summer.
