Folk Music Theme
The theme for concerts is American folk music. The Concert Chorale, Chamber Singers, as well as faculty and staff vocalists and instrumentalists will perform a variety of traditional folk pieces. Selections will include "Shenandoah, "Buffalo Gals," "Get Along Home Little Cindy," and "She'll be Comin' 'Round the Mountain."

"We have never done a program like this," said Dr. Larry Kauffman, Chair of Music Department "We think it is going to be very entertaining, and our singers and directors have enjoyed learning the music and are looking forward to sharing it with our audiences."

Both the Concert Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Kauffman, and Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. David Harris, travel widely for performances across the United States. Additionally, Chamber Singers has made visits to the Philippines, Ireland, Jamaica, and South Africa.
