Men's Conference set to refresh, invigorate
Training for godliness is the focus of 2013 Men's Conference, which will bring pastors, and Christian leaders together for a time of encouragement at BBC&S this summer.
"God's Gym" is the theme of the May 16-18 event, offering men spiritual growth and revitalization. The annual retreat-style conference includes general sessions, hands-on workshops, along with plenty of relaxation and fellowship.
General sessions will explore what it means to train to be godly and discover the difference between works-righteousness and works of the Spirit. Conference workshops will provide practical ways for training in "God's Gym."
"I enjoy hearing different views of the Word from different people," said 2012 conference attendee Harvey Scelso of Atco, NY. "I love the Lord, and this keeps me in touch with him. I really look forward to it, to recharging my batteries."
Registration, schedule, and details are online at www.bbc.edu/mensconference.
Regular cost for the weekend is $120, with discounts available through April 15. Pre-conference activities include workshops, pizza party, open gym, and breakfast, and cost only $15.
