The President's Golf Classic, held annually in Northeastern Pennsylvania since 2005, has raised nearly $800,000 for scholarships since 2005.

The President's Golf Classic is Monday, May 21 at Glen Oak Country Club in Waverly, PA, just minutes from campus. Registration and other details are online at www.bbc.edu/golfclassic.

Golfers connect with local business sponsors to raise funds for scholarships. The event is a powerful opportunity for friends of BBC&S to be involved in the work of equipping students for global Christian leadership.

Special Sponsorships
Businesses form a critical foundation of support for the event.

"Sponsors see, firsthand, the direct impact the President's Golf Classic has on the lives of students," said Jim Burke, Regional Vice President of Luzerne Bank, the lead sponsor for the day. "By supporting this event, sponsors make possible what otherwise may be unattainable for some students. There are many students at the event. After speaking with them and hearing how grateful they are for the support, sponsors walk away knowing they have made a deep impact on the lives of many."

A range of business sponsorships are available. Details are online here.

Mr. Burke, who chairs the event planning committee, first became involved as a participant and sponsor in 2006.

"We understand the importance of giving back to the communities we serve," he said. "We're grateful to be part of the mission BBC&S strives to achieve."
