Seminar highlights multi-generational counseling and restoration

Effective strategies toward family restoration are the focus of a weekend seminar hosted by BBC's graduate counseling program.

The March 23-24 seminar features speaker Beverly Hubble Tauke, a veteran family counselor and author. The sessions are 6-10 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

"Family Legacies: Multi-Generational Assessment and Restorative Strategies" emphasizes biblical concepts and family research as it applies personally and in ministry. The seminar examines key issues in families today, including divorce impact, gender roles, and environmental and genetic issues.

The cost is $99 and includes materials, pizza on Friday night, and snacks. The seminar may also be taken as a one-credit graduate-level course for the usual tuition rate.

To register, contact Sharon Wilson at 570.585.9219 or swilson@bbc.edu, or Howard Hicks at 570.585.9345 or hhicks@bbc.edu.
