Special study trip to Greece, Turkey offers unique experiences

A special study trip to biblically historical destinations in Greece and Turkey will be offered through Baptist Bible Seminary in May. The tour will engage participants as they experience places they have studied in Scripture, such as the locations of the seven churches in Revelation 2-3.

The 13-day visit and cruise runs May 18-30. Those in attendance will visit the locations of the churches of Revelation, as well as the sites of Paul's missionary journeys.

The trip includes a cruise to the islands of Patmos and Santorini. Tours of Athens and Corinth include several historical ruins, such as the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the Temples of Corinth. The visit to Ephesus includes the site of one of the largest restorations still in progress. BBC&S

A Powerful Experience
The trip, through Pilgrim Tours, is hosted by Assistant Seminary Dean Dr. Lee Kliewer, a veteran tour guide of regional trips. The trip offers students of the Bible a unique perspective on biblical, historical locations and cultures. The experience may also be taken for Seminary credit.

Dr. Kliewer is also leading a 10-day inspirational tour of Israel March 6-15. Travelers will visit Bethlehem, the Jordan River, the Dead Sea, the Mount of Beatitudes, and the Holocaust Museum
