Saturday mixed the best of homecoming with reunions, connections, and more. Activities also included traditional tent setups, with student residence halls and organizations offering a mix of food and beverage tables.
Defenders and Lady Defenders soccer and volleyball games included special recognition of parents. The presentation of the Homecoming Court took place in the evening along with a special concert by RiSE, BBC's student worship team.
A Powerful Week
"The Greatest Preacher's Greatest Sermon" was the theme for this year's Bible Conference focusing on the Sermon on the Mount. Sessions ran across the week at various times.
This special weeklong look into Jesus' words enabled those in attendance to rediscover truths that can be applied to their life as they serve and lead others. Featured speakers included Stephen Davey, Senior Pastor of Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, NC, and Don Shirk, Senior Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Batavia, NY. They were joined by BBC&S President Jim Jeffery, and Vice President and Provost Dr. Jim Lytle.
