Big Blue Soccer wraps up set of successful summer sports camps

More than 600 students participated in sports camps this summer at BBC, a special time of instruction, competition, and growth.

Led by qualified coaches and leaders, August included Defender and Lady Defender Soccer Camps for high school students and Big Blue Soccer Camp for kids through eighth grade. The set of camps wrapped up a successful summer season on campus.

At Defender Soccer Camps, instruction was led by BBC Women's Head Coach Chris Davis, who was joined by former BBC Coach Roger Jacobs and current Men's Head Coach Sean MacPherson. Campers were challenged on the field with soccer skills and off the field in their life skills through chapel and other set-aside times. Coaches and counselors shared testimonies from the Bible, impacting the lives of each camper.

BBC&SBig Blue Soccer day camps were held in the mornings for students in kindergarten through third-grade; afternoon sessions were focused on those in fourth through eighth grade. Drills to develop soccer skills and games for fun competition were part of each day.
