Musical tradition welcomes spring

The Murphy Memorial Library at BBC&S hosted a warm, musical welcome to spring in early April, with the special performances including one sold-out event.

The April 8 and 9 Spring Concerts offered a special time of exciting harmonies with talented vocalists and musicians. The programs featured members of BBC's Music Department's Concert Chorale, Chamber Singers, and One Accord.

Each musical group performed an array of songs, which were accented by soloists and small ensembles.

Choir Tour
Earlier during the semester, choir members participated in tours over spring break, March 11 - 21. The tours took members of Concert Chorale and Chamber Singers to ten states in the eastern and northeastern United States.

The students performed and ministered in nearly 20 different churches and schools.

The Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. David Harris, is a mixed group of 17 voices. One Accord, also under the direction of Dr. Harris, is a mixed quartet. The Concert Chorale, directed by Dr. Larry Kauffman, is a 40-voice choir.
