Class of 2011 presents Mystery Dinner Theatre

BBC's Class of 2011 is partnering with Ghostlight Productions to bring an Edgar Allan Poe drama to the Phelps Student Center.

Performances of "A Midnight Dreary" will be March 31 through April 2. The four shows include a special midnight performance on Friday night. Proceeds will benefit the Class of 2011.

Dinners include salad, main course, a selection of desserts, and coffee. All desserts include a selection of cakes, cheesecakes, and coffee.

Tickets go on sale Monday, March 7, and may be purchased at the BBC Box Office or by calling 570.585.9000. Box Office hours are 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Performances will be:

- Thursday, March 31, 8 p.m. Dessert. $12.
- Friday, April 1, 8 p.m. Dinner. $25.
- Friday, April 1, Midnight. Dessert. $10.
- Saturday, April 2, 7 p.m. Dinner. $25.

A Special Production
"A Midnight Dreary," which features seven of Poe's poems and short stories, was adapted for the stage by James Goode, of the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble.

The Class of 2011 is working with Pioneer College Catering to provide the menu. Class members will be assisting with service and dining room preparation.

Ghostlight Productions is a small Scranton area theatre group created and managed by Jonathan and Rachel Strayer. Learn more at www.ghostlightproductions.org. The group also paired with the Class of 2011 for a production last spring of Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap."
