Summer volunteers play key role in campus improvements
Volunteers will handle a range of campus improvement projects at Baptist Bible College & Seminary this summer, combining hands-on help with an inexpensive family vacation.
Volunteer Weeks will be June 20-26 and July 11-17. Workers help in several areas of need in campus facilities. Some jobs involve specialized skills while others just require a willing spirit.
The Maintenance Department benefits from these dedicated workers as they prepare the campus for the upcoming school year.
Projects for this summer include remodeling Shaffer Hall, construction of a retaining wall at Commons Hall, new siding on Nordling Hall, as well as cleaning, painting, and related tasks. This year also features the start of construction work for the $4.5 million Kempton Athletic Center.

The May family of Ira, VT, have been coming to Volunteers Week for five years. Eric and Ingrid, BBC alumni, bring their five children each year for a family vacation of service and refreshment.

Housing is free for the week and childcare is available. Meals are only $15 per person for the entire week. Volunteers also have access to school facilities and activities.
