Men's Conference offers revitalizing, challenging weekend

Tackling a range of difficult issues is the focus of the powerful 2010 Men's Conference at Baptist Bible College, a special time for laymen, pastors, and ministry leaders to be challenged by each other and God's Word.

"Issues and Inspiration" is the theme of the May 14-15 conference. Last year's event drew more than 250 men to the BBC campus.

Relevant topics, workshops
Pastor Pat Nemmers, a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College and currently serving at Saylorville Baptist Church in Des Moines, IA, is the keynote speaker. Pastor Nemmers also serves as a trustee of Baptist Bible College & Seminary and is a favorite chapel speaker of students.

Attendees will be encouraged by dynamic speakers and relevant topics in workshops and sessions, including:
- Developing Leaders
- Finances, Understanding Teenage Daughters
- Lessons on Loving your Wife
- Discovering your Design, Spiritual Disciplines
- Tackling Temptation
- Life and Time Management
- Skills for Effective Bible Study
- What People Want and Need from You and Your Church (for pastors)

Workshops will be available in Spanish for Spanish-speaking attendees.

Other activities during the conference include ping pong, basketball, and volleyball tournaments. Also, a special offering will be taken to benefit a student in the Pastoral Ministries program at BBC. Last year's collection totaled nearly $2,300.

Early-bird registration discounts are available. On-campus housing is included in registration. Pre-conference housing is also available.
