Spring Concert set for April 9-10
The unique acoustic qualities of Baptist Bible College's Murphy Memorial Library will be featured during the Music Department's annual Spring Concert, set for Friday, April 9, and Saturday, April 10.
The concerts feature various choral pieces by both the Chamber Singers and the Concert Chorale, with instrumental performances throughout the program.
Each concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 each and will be sold beginning March 22.
Tickets are available on campus during lunch, in the Music Department's Buckingham Hall office, and by calling 570.585.9295.
The Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. David Harris, is a mixed group of 17 voices. The Concert Chorale, directed by Dr. Larry Kauffman, is a 40-voice choir. Both groups include many musical styles but specialize in sacred music.
